Maggie has done a variety of creative workshops with all ages, using a diverse range of ideas and materials. She has led workshops in a drug & alcohol rehabilitation centre in Nottinghamshire, and has facilitated a number of public murals, including one at a school in Paraguay in 2005.
In 1999 - 2000, she with other artists, musicians, dancers and actors/actresses was employed by JC2000 to lead two day inset-training days, for teachers, creatively exploring the life of Jesus. This led to schools producing an art exhibition, play or a musical performance. These productions were then shown in regional festivals, culminating with a national exhibition and performance in London. Leading on from this project, until June 2006 Maggie was involved with 'cre.8ed', an organisation that arranges week courses, one/two day workshops in schools, using the arts to teach citizenship, values and RE.
In 2005 to 2006 Maggie was employed by the Everyman Theatre (Cheltenham) community arts programme leading workshops, including one at the Roshni Asian Women's Centre in Gloucester.
'Excellent! It was well organised, relaxing. The practitioner was flexible, calm, excellent with both parents and children. Interesting activities. All equipment was provided. I would make it a longer session! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have the Craft Workshop.' Feedback from Everytots Craft Workshop, Roshni Asian Women's Centre, Gloucester, 8th December 2005
